Our partners who we work and our volunteers have not had any impact from the coronavirus. Please pray that the impact will be very short-lived, that those who are affected will have their strength renewed by God, and that this will be an occasion for many people to come to know the Lord as their salvation.
Many churches will be serving their communities through Operation Inasmuch Blitz Days. Pray that the light of Jesus Christ shines brightly through each volunteer and that communities all across the state feel they have been touched by the hand of God.
Greater Joy Baptist Church in Oxford is building a Transitional Home for men who are overcoming addictions. Pray that construction can start on schedule in the next few days and that many men find new hope and new life in Christ through this Impact NC Project.
God chooses the humble, the meek, and the weak and thus, there is never a question about the source of power when their lives are changed and when their lives changed the world. It is totally amazing to witness how God uses so many people in so many different ways. Satan will try to convince you that you cannot be used and that is far from the truth. The Book of Acts tells the story of a handful of men and women who, by the power of the Holy Spirit, did not leave their world the same way they found it. They were ordinary people whom God enabled to do extraordinary things. I challenge you to allow God to use you to change the world and not leave it the same way that you find it. Use the power that lies within you through the word of God and the Holy Spirit to make a difference in the world in which we live. Reminder that Philippians 4:13 tells us that we can do all things through Christ who strengthens us.
Our NCBOM State Prayer Coordinator, prepares our devotionals each week. She would really appreciate a 75-word devotional contribution from any Board member, Advisory Council member, or staff person who would care to submit to share with the group. Please send to Tammy Weeks: theweeks@embarqmail.com. Also, if you have any ministry praises or ministry prayer requests, please send those as well.
Baptists on Mission only accepts prayer request for mission projects that you (or your church) want others to pray for. We do not list personal prayer requests on the site.
