Sharing God's Love in Word and Deed
Our teams serve alongside church planters and pastors throughout Pennsylvania, in both rural and urban areas. In addition to ministry expertise and resources, volunteer teams offer Christian encouragement and prayer – a valuable resource in a region where there is not an evangelical church on every corner. There is great excitement for the contribution North Carolina Baptists teams are making in Pennsylvania.

Please pray about how you and your church can help meet some of these needs. Start by downloading a list of 2022 Pennsylvania projects requests. Once you have looked it over, contact Mark Abernathy at mabernathy@ncbaptist.org or (919) 459-5607) to discuss the opportunities and/or secure a mission project. You will be put in direct contact with a requestor in Pennsylvania to ask any and all questions. If both you and requestor feel it is a good match, go ahead and set a date for your team’s service. Then you will be directed to secure the project on behalf of your team by registering as the team leader. Remember to check back from time to time as new projects are added periodically throughout the year.
A team is needed for the Winter/Spring 2022 to remove shutters and power wash the 60′ x 30′ Baptist State Convention Building in Harrisburg, PA, and it’s parking lot. Team can stay in volunteer housing just across the street. Work can be done in the coming fall, winter, or next spring. Pennsylvania offers North Carolina Baptists an opportunity to serve Christ in a much-needed area of our nation. The need for sharing Christ and furthering His Kingdom in there is great. We will need teams to serve in 2022 throughout the state. Please pray about your participation in this ministry.
