NC Baptists on Mission Disaster Relief Training is open to believers ready to serve when crisis strikes.

Mark Abernathy has served on the staff of Baptists on Mission since 1994. He began as consultant for children/Royal Ambassadors and as director of Camp Caraway for Boys. Mark currently serves as consultant for adult/men’s ministries and partnership missions. Prior to his service with Baptists on Mission, he served as a chaplain, as director of the Kentucky State RA Camp, and as a journeyman missionary for the Foreign Mission Board (now International Mission Board). Mark is a graduate of Appalachian State University and Southern Baptist Seminary. He is married to Kellie, and they have two grown children.
