Baptists on Mission identifies needs locally, nationally, and globally, then equips local church team leaders to carry out mission projects that meet those needs.

How Going Works

Churches Send Teams

The majority of North Carolina mission projects and volunteer trainings are organized through churches.

Church leaders gather a group, choose a mission opportunity or volunteer training, and serve together — whether responding to disaster, rebuilding homes, serving at mission camps, or supporting community outreach.

Serving as a team:

  • Builds unity within your church
  • Provides encouragement and accountability
  • Multiplies impact in the community
  • Strengthens long-term partnerships

Not part of a team? Not affiliated with a church?

You are still welcome

Some volunteers serve independently, especially in disaster response and ongoing rebuilding efforts. When appropriate, we connect individuals with existing teams or ministries in need of help.

You don’t have to wait to be asked.

If God is stirring your heart, take the next step.
