Coed Adult Missions is for churches who would like to bring the men and women of the church together to learn about missions, pray for missions, and prepare to participate in missions in our state, our nation, and around the world.

Purpose

The missions focus of each session highlights a hands-on mission opportunity that is appropriate for men, women, and in some instances, youth. Each session includes: A Leader’s Planning Guide, a Participant’s Guide, a “Meet the Missionary” segment, Bulletin Inserts for promotion, and Hands-On Mission Ideas for local, national, and international involvement.

Structure

It is suggested that coed mission learning sessions be planned on a monthly or quarterly basis on a night that is convenient for the adults of your church. Consider a meal, followed by an hour-long program, that may include:

  • Welcome and Opening Prayer
  • ​Brief Mission Reports
  • Worshipful Singing
  • Scripture Verse
  • Missions Video
  • Missions Testimony/Presentation
  • Challenge to Further Involvement
  • ​Prayer
