Meeting human needs in Jesus' name
In 2012 following a law change in Hungary, public schools were asked to offer Bible classes. Over 49 Hungarian public schools are now operated by our partner, Hungarian Baptist Aid. Already in partnership when this change happened, Baptists on Mission is invited to send summer teams to host English Bible Camps and openly share the gospel. Baptists on Mission has developed six years of gospel-centered curriculum for your church team to use. Your church can develop a partnership with one of these schools, preschool to high school, and invest in the community year after year with a goal toward church planting.
Numerous Roma communities throughout Romania and Ukraine have little access to medical care. Showing God’s love through medical care opens the door to relationship building and sharing the Gospel. Opportunities are available for medical teams to work with Roma churches and villages in both Romania and Ukraine.
A spiritual harvest is being recognized as teams continue to provide Vacation Bible School, evangelistic outreach and youth, women’s and men’s events in Roma communities in Romania and Hungary. Baptists on Mission is seeking North Carolina churches willing to send teams to build relationships in these communities; partnering with the local leadership for long-term effectiveness and spiritual growth.
